This is the first social event of the year. Join us for ice cream, snow cones,
door prizes and more. Get re-acquainted with old
friends and make some new ones. This annual event is organized by a seasonal
committee, led this year by Michelle Castellano,
Maria Piccirilli, and Laura Radford, which began planning during the summer and
will complete arrangements during the first month of school.
Volunteers are needed to help plan the event, set up, clean up, and
assist during the event.
Join us for the second annual Kids Craft and Holiday Fun Day! We have three
hours of fun-filled activities planned for your little elves. There will be
games, crafts, snacks, and more. Space is limited to the first 80 paid
registrants. Registration forms came home in backpacks and are due with
payment by Tuesday, November 26th.
The centers will be staffed with parent volunteers and the group leaders
will be individuals who work in the district and have gone through district
background checks and fingerprinting. The Kids Craft and Holiday Fun Day
is open to all Paloma students and their siblings who are 3 years and older and
are potty trained. **Guaranteed registration for children whose parents are
volunteering at the Fun Day.** The cost is only $5 per child.
Volunteers can sign up using the registration form (even if not registering
any children for the event) or can contact a board member for more information.
This event is scheduled for December 7 - 13, and is in need of a coordinator
and volunteers.
All volunteers were invited to the Volunteer Appreciation Lunch at the local park.
Parent Superintendent Council luncheons are held throughout the year at
district schools. Paloma hosted the February luncheon.
This dinner has been cancelled due to lack of interest. The silent auction will be
held at the spring carnival.

This event is organized by a seasonal committee, led this year by Tami
and Jeff Long.
There will be a variety of activities,
including games, rides, food, and free entertainment. Bring the whole
family for a fun day at Paloma!
TV Turn-off Week is held nationwide in the Spring. For 2003, the event
is scheduled for the week of April 21 - 25.
The PTA will be sponsoring a read-a-thon during TV Turn-off Week. This
is a great opportunity to replace television with literature and will
also raise money for literacy at Paloma. For more information, see the
Fundraising Page.
If you are interested in helping with this event, please contact a
board member.
